Dear Ellen, Thank you for all of your guidance in Puppy Kindergarten. We and Rocky will miss our new friends. Hopefully, we can fit an Adult Dog class into our schedule next semester. Although Rocky still had endless energy, he is much better behaved at home. Thanks again!

Dear Ellen, Thanks for making Puppy Kindergarten classes fun and informative. We were first time puppy owners and really needed guidance in dealing with our Sheepadoodle Milo. You were always very patient and took the time to answer all of our questions. Milo really enjoyed the classes and we feel more at ease in dealing with Milo's behaviors. We look forward to working with you and hope Milo will learn more in Family Dog 1. Thanks, Linda,Richard and Rebecca Simon

Ellen,

Thank you for all the training tips on raising a happy puppy. We especially liked your approach to training. Peyton loved going to class. As soon as we pulled up, she got so excited. Although her attention span was not that greatest, Bobby and I learned a lot. We will keep reinforcing all that we learned. It’s amazing how much puppies learn when you give them the time. Anytime someone gets a puppy, we are definitely going to recommend them to you.

Thanks again! Erica and Bobby Hunt

Hi Ellen! Bill and I are so pleased with Maggie's progress in Puppy Kindergarten and I am so glad we did our homework to find "Happy Dog" and you. Your methods are terrific and we are looking forward to the next round of classes (Family Dog I). In the meantime, thanks again for your excellent people training skills - Maggie is enjoying being a 7 month old Wheaten Terrier with trained parents! Warm regards, Maureen Yorke

Hi Ellen, Thanks for a great class. You have guided us in teaching Brooklyn manners. She has come a long way. We learned just how important the LEAVE IT command is this week when Brooklyn picked up a live rabies vaccine block twice this week in our front yard.It is so important to spend quality time training & playing with your dog. It makes them good doggie citizens. We still have work ahead of us with polite meet & greets. She must sense dog lovers like Ellen because she does not get so excited with everyone she meets.Brooklyn hit the doggie lottery as an 11 month old Rottie being adopted by us & then attending Ellen's Family Dog 1 & 2. She's a great dog. Thanks Ellen.

Dear Ellen, Phoebe and I want to thank you for a wonderful experience!I learned so much and continue to learn every day from the things you've taught me.Although I have had dogs for my entire life, the depth of understanding you have about dogs is giving me a whole new level in my relationship with Phoebe as well as my older boxer. We really do expect a lot from the dogs we love so much, and now I am learning an entirely positive way to live a really full life with them and be able to include them in every way possible. I'm looking forward to the next level class and the opportunity to continue learning and growing.! Love, Phoebe and Shelley

We just finished Family Dog 2 and want to thank you again Ellen for your patience, good humor and wonderful way with all things DOG! :-) You are just the best and we're so thankful that we were given your name when Chloe was so young!

I think it rained 5 out of 8 Wednesdays but now we have a dog who isn't so flakey about going out in a little rain. And she's leash walking like a star, with only the occasional tug towards something "interesting". We cruise by baby carriages, skate boarders, bikers and rumbling trucks with hardly a look from Chloe. Other dogs are still another matter but we're working on that too and being in the classes has helped her be less reactive to bigger pups.

We'll work on all of the great exercises you got us started on and we look forward to Family Dog 3!

All the best, Cec, Dennis & Chloe

Ellen was recommended to us by renowned behaviorist Dr. Karen Overall and she is more than worthy of that recommendation. We, and Zallie the Hovawart, loved puppy kindergarten. The lessons were so well prepared and organized that it made it easy to review the handouts out home and practice the skills she taught. Zallie loved the free play and has emerged as a confident social pup.

Ellen's class gave us quality time with our quirky sheltie named Fred. And although he is still quirky - he is a good well mannered dog. He sits and stays and walks without a leash-thanks to Ellen's Family dog 2 class. We look forward to spending more time with Ellen and Fred in Family dog 3.

We think the world of Ellen. She is gifted and helped us survive puppyhood with a Border Collie. We attended puppy kindergarden in 2001 and we still use the same techniques for our Dakota (Border Collie) 7 years later and our Melbourne (Australian Sheppard) who is 4 years old.
